100 series motherboards require a BIOS update to support Kaby Lake (7th gen) CPUs. If your BIOS version (it should be printed on a white sticker on the BIOS chip) is not 7.0 or higher then your system will not post.
You can either use a Skylake CPU to update the BIOS or alternatively you can contact ASRock Tech Support and inform them about the issue. You will be able to purchase a preflashed BIOS chip that will enable you to use the system correctly. |

Hello, I bought fresh new setup:
Intel i5-7600k Kingston DDR4 8GB KVR21N15D8/8 ASRock z170m pro4s 400W power supply First time I bought a wrong RAM, today I bought a new one in the list. I connect power, power on. The CPU cooler start up, but no video, no beep (from speaker connected) and after 15 seconds restart. After that restart, noting happened. I tested all RAM slots (on everyone I cleared CMOS by turn off PC, disconnected the power supply and short CMOS headers 2-3). After removing RAM, PC start up, CPU cooler too, after 15 seconds restart. After restart, there it beeps 3 times long. So motherboard and CPU is probably good. Any ideas?
