Hi! I've been trying to figure out how force this memory to work as close to what is considered right speed and managed to make them run stable on settings like below. Hope this helps! CPU: Ryzen 7 1800X @ stock settings MEMORY: Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Memory Kit - Black (CMK32GX4M2B3000C15)http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-lpx-32gb-2x16gb-ddr4-dram-3000mhz-c15-memory-kit-black-cmk32gx4m2b3000c15 MOBO: ASRock X370 Killer SLI/ac http://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/X370%20Killer%20SLIac/index.asp BIOS v. 2.50 DRAM - @2800 Mhz 15-17-17-17-36 voltage 1.360 V STABLE (tested on multiply benchmarks) tried to push it to 2933 Mhz passed POST, BOOT and got stable OS but failed under load - might try to push up voltage a bit and it should be stable at 2933 Mhz |

Hello, I have installed that version. The Ram works at 2133mhz and automatic
mode. I have not changed anything in the bios. I do not know if I can
now raise the frequency. My computer still freezes in some moments and I
do not know why it happens.

Your memory is not included in your board's Memory QVL list. Memory compatibility is the biggest issue we have now with Ryzen systems. Your board has a new Beta UEFI/BIOS version, 1.93A, that has improved memory compatibility: http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/X370%20Killer%20SLI/index.asp#BIOS AMD recently announced that the Ryzen memory controller does not support a DDR4 memory speed of 3000. As your board's Memory QVL states, DDR4 3000 must be used at 2933 or less. If you are trying to use the XMP profile, it won't work with a Ryzen system, since it was designed for Intel X99 and 100 series chipset boards: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengeance-lpx-32gb-2x16gb-ddr4-dram-3000mhz-c15-memory-kit-black-cmk32gx4m2b3000c15 I believe your memory has been used on ASRock Ryzen boards, but you must set the memory speed and timings manually. Also, 32GB will be more difficult to run at higher speeds. What things have you tried to run your memory at higher speeds? Your problems with the PC crashing and running slowly could be caused by many other things besides your memory. You haven't given us any information about the other hardware you are using and what version of Windows you are using. Ryzen is a new system and you are an early adopter, which means you'll be dealing with issues like this for a while. |
