My manual for the X370 Killer says the same thing, but it is talking about the stickers on the slots that accommodate different sized M.2 drives.

In this Taichi picture it shows the Ultra M.2s covered by yellow stickers, but not the normal M2 holes: http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/8099/asrock-x370-taichi-amd-motherboard-review/index2.html |

I had the same problem - loose screw in anti-static bag.  I was glad to find it as I needed it for an SSD.  My MB is the X370 Fatal1ty Professional.  The manual says to remove the stickers securing the screws.  No one at ASRock is placing the stickers over the screws.  Enjoy, John.
