Yeah this bug is just ridiculous, people need to complain direct to Asrock and ask for a fix ASAP....show stopper bug big time.

Hopefully, they fix these, great motherboard (hardware) but the software UEFI is pretty poor.

Ha... I've seen a video or two from him before on PCB breakdowns. He's very informational at times and also...(ahem) a bit of a 'Diva'. -at least to me. His frustration is certainly genuine and understood. Hopefully he 'hangs in' there...and doesn't get rid of his Taichi.
That is what I'm doing despite the issues many are facing, 'hanging in'. Also, one must think 'positive' at times. After all this month may turn out to be a great month even if only a few issues are resolved from the reported AMD/Mobo Manufacturer updates coming soon.... Then a few months down the road perhaps more AMD/Mobo updates, Microsoft/Linux updates, Software/Gaming developers may have something this fall. I'll stay tuned. |

This was posted April 12th
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNc4q1kBwhE Basically when you change the BCLK it resets all the other overclocking settings, making the board horrible to use for more extreme overclocking, which is really bad given the solid power delivery on the board. And this was posted today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-ndTMeRT3s Where if you change memory frequency your timings get reset. Is there any ETA on when these bugs will be fixed? Or can we get the source code to the BIOS to possibly fix it? Thanks. |
