Just FYI, you cannot use an AM3+ processor in an AM4 mother board, or any other pre-AM4 processor. They are physically and electrically incompatible. |

Funny enough, it booted with one RAM stick. All good now.

Looks like that board needs P2.10 BIOS to run the R5 ....I can't say what you have, but P2.10 was released on 4/6/2017, and is the first BIOS listed on that board.. d
P2.40 is the newest I see... It has an Integrated AMD Radeon??R-Series Graphics in A-series APU (The mainboard) ...have you plugged the monitor in there? Maybe you have to turn off the built in APU in bios before the 1050 will work? |

Changed the motherboard to the ASrock AB350m Pro4 Original problem I had with the first motherboard was no display, found in the manual it only supported Ryzen 7 so I sent it back and ordered the AB350M, called and was told that this would work with Ryzen 5. Changed them out, and I still am not getting anything to display. CPU fan spins, GPU fan spins, HDD on, Disk driver on. If it is a bios issue, I have an FX-6350 in my other desktop if I need to boot and update, but I would rather not remove it unless absolutely necessary, It's buried under a water cooler in a very tight spot and would be a major pain to swap out and then put back in.
