Yeah thanks man, but in my case I need to change the pstate2 to custom but with default value. And now the oc works perfectly. |

You just want to set pstate0, leave the rest on auto. And you must only touch pstate0 fid, don't touch did or vid values or it won't throttle at idle.
If you need to set your own voltage, go to oc tweaker page and set an offset value.

Hi, what I meant by set pstate 0 and 1 identically is, I set pstate 0 and 1 on custom (same speed) and pstate 2 on custom (default value) or auto, pstate 3...7 were disabled. Cpu run indeed at max speed but never slow down to pstate 2. Checked with ryzen master, hwinfo64. Edited by JohnGilbert - 12 Jun 2017 at 2:13pm |

If you set any P State to Auto, it is ignored. The other choices are Custom or Disabled, right? If you set a P State to Disabled, all the other below is are also disabled, and cannot be used, right? Your P State2 setting is Custom, correct? Try setting P State0 (which should be the same as your 3.9GHz OC) to Custom, set P State1 to Auto, and P State2 to Custom. Then boot into Windows and check the speeds your CPU will run at. |

Guys, I got problem to overclock my cpu using pstate method. My cpu is 1700x, mb taichi 2.40 and I can manually oc it to 3.9 stable with 3.6875v. But I don't want it to run 3.9 all the time, so I want to use pstate method to be able to slow it down when idle. The problem is, if I set pstate 0 and 1 identically, my cpu will run at maximum speed and never slow down to pstate2 speed. And if I set pstate0 and pstate1 differently or auto, my cpu will run only at lowest speed (pstate2 speed). I already tried, first to set all settings in oc tweaker to auto (llc 2) then change pstate setting and second set manual overclock but don't change anything (offset set to 0.1875), the problem still exists. Any help would be appreciated.
