Are all 4 sticks from a Quad Channel Kit or are they two separate Dual Channel Kits?

Hi everyone,
So i have gone through every step here as well and everything is the same except for the amount of ram that is off line. Mine shows no ram offline its at 15.9 and it is still running in single channel mode.

Thanks for your help in advanced. also if it does help i will go through and provide the same screen shots?

kebl3739, I think so! I would suggest that you test A1 and B1 with the good stick while you are here.  I think you need to talk to Corsair about the RMA, but I suspect it will be OK.  Always glad to help when I can.  Good luck and enjoy, John.

You guys were right! Thanks for all your help.

So:

Stick 1 in A2: boot
Stick 1 in B2: boot
Stick 2 in A2: no post
Stick 2 in B2: no post

So Stick 2 of RAM is faulty and the slots/mobo are fine right?

Unfortunately I can't find the RAM internal packaging (the plastic bit the sticks sit in). I still have the outer card case. Can I still get an RMA from Corsair for the RAM? Bought them 17/5/2017

Does this mean it's only picking up one of my 2x8gb sticks?

You were right! I'm going to go about testing the sticks and slots now. Thanks - will get back to you all.

FYI, put a smallish USB stick in the rear USB slots, then in the BIOS hit F12 to capture what is displayed on screen

Have you re-seated the sticks in the memory slots?

Are they both from a single Kit, or just two individual sticks purchased separately?

Have you pulled the processor and checked for bent/missing pins?

The RAM is from a single kit.

I have checked the processor pins about a month ago.

I have tried reseating the RAM a about a month ago but to be honest I only noticed the Single Channel thing today.

So the Single Channel Memory Mode is definitely not "working as intended"? I only noticed it today but has possibly been like that the whole time from BIOS 2.4 til now.

Thanks for the tip about screenshotting the BIOS. Sorry for picture quality!

This is exactly what's happening to me (posted under "fatality + flareX memory thread"). Switching slots, clearing cmos will change nothing. CPU-Z also shows dual but not in bios. I have not run memfest tho but probably should. I spoke with asrock tech yesterday and in the process of returning the board. I'm also planning to return the cpu as well.

p.s.
Now the question I have is when clearing cmos, should I also remove the cpu as well in order to obtain 100% "clearing" ? I have not done this part.

Please do. Having a bad or goofy acting stick will exhibit this too.
