Imstearn, let's take a way and see, but if you get more BSODs please compress the Minidump folder and post it where we can access it.  Enjoy, John.

Hi John,
(Forum code is parsed differently by Chrome so the https links don't work when "Enable the WYSIWYG post editor" is enabled)
Here are some specs.

The details and dump links are posted at MS Answers.

Zany redirects happening here so the MS link has to be copy/pasta.

Having just replaced memory Dimms, the issue may not re-occur -here's hoping anyhow.
Have actually ditched Edge because of this issue as well.
:)

Thanks for the response.

Imstearn, please post more information about your setup, such as CPU, BIOS version, OS, memory, etc.  Bug checks should produce dump files, so please compress the Minidump folder and upload it where we can access it.  Have you tried another browser concerning the sound problem?  Please try Chrome.  I use Firefox and sometime have problems with the sound.  Chrome does not.
I do not understand nVidia's suggestion at all.  Enjoy, John.

Hi there,
First post here: Just posted to NVIDIA this. Probably just dodgy DIMMS (Elite).

The card has definitely been benchmarked and tested.
Rather than repeat the pain, suggest a card that will function sweetly with the 980DE3/U3S3

NVIDIA suggest that if the bugchecks continue, then changing the MB will depend on the chipsets thus:

North Bridge
AMD 780G rev 00
South Bridge
AMD SB700 rev 00

If so, how do we proceed?
Also, the on-board sound is great, but can be jittery when switching Edge windows with media content so installing a Creative Soundcard.
Thanks for any suggestions.
