Yes it does, any of the ASRock Z270 boards with Ultra M.2 slots support any NVMe SSD, including the Z270 Taichi. All Z270 boards share resources between the M.2 slots and the Intel SATA III ports. If you have any SATA drives connected to the Intel SATA ports, the M.2 slot that shares resources with them will not work. From your board's specifications: M2_1, SATA3_0 and SATA3_1 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the others will be disabled. M2_2, SATA3_4 and SATA3_5 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the others will be disabled. If M2_3 is occupied by a SATA-type M.2 device, SATA3_3 will be disabled. Which M.2 slot are you using, and do you have any SATA drives connected to the board? What version of Windows are you trying to install? |
