Dear should, Greetings, this is ASRock TSD. According to this question, we provide some suggestions for you to check the system stability: 1. Please enter the BIOS setup and press [F9] to load optimized BIOS default setting. Then press [F10] to save the setting afterward. 2. Please make sure the OS is clean installed on X399 motherboard and didn't switch from previous platform. 3. As the Kingston HypreX memory HX432C16PB3K4/32 is supported by Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming in 2pcs, please only install two stick memory to A2/B2 memory slot to verify. If possible, please only install one stick memory module to verify if system can work well with one memory occupied. 4. Please make sure all of the drivers have been installed properly, no unknown device or yellow exclusion mark appear in Device Manager. 5. Please run other CPU loading softwares to verify if the symptom is caused by specific software. 6. If the chassis fan has been adopted in your system setup, please try to tune the chassis fan speed to Full Speed under BIOS>H/W Monitor tab to cooling the MB. 7. If possible, please install other HDD/SSD with clean OS installed to verify. Thanks! All the best, ASRock TSD |

should, you said:
My next suspect is memory. Are you running an XMP, and if so which one? What slots are the memory sticks in? I had a similar problem in my R7 1800X but it almost always occurred at idle not load. It turned out to be bad memory slots (A1 and A2) fixed by a RMAed board. Where did you get your drivers? Please see my specifications in my signature for more detail on yours. Good luck and enjoy, John. |

Hello,
I often find the system just hangs mid use no blue screens or other errors only just freezes, especially while under heavy CPU usage, I often run distributed computing. According to AMD's Ryzen master software the temp while under full load hovers around 58-62c. I have made no remarkable modifications to the system there is nothing unusual about the build, no items that you wouldn't expect to normally see. There is no water cooling on this build. I have recently updated the bios from P1.30 to P1.50, there was no perceivable difference with this update. Here is my system: CPU: 1950x VGA: Nvidia 1060 disk: Samsung 840 pro 256gb (Win10 64) ram: Kingston HyperX Predator HX432C16PB3K4/32 (on the qvl list) Note: I am using the same HDD I used on my previous Intel system, on that system until the motherboard died, I never had one single blue screen or crash. Please advise. |
