as above ^
ive spent most of my time with the taichi with memory training OFF it will boot my preset xmp fine like this mine is now ON due to trying to find a suitable and stable ram overclock think of it literally boot training = making a few background attempts to use the ram at user defined settings if the ram is on the very safe side of stable theres no need for it |

Yea. You say Boot Training isn't changing the memory parameters(OC) anyways. Disabling it then will have no effect other that to speed booting. |

Yes this will be the next thing I try after work tomorrow. Is turning off boot training safe? |

Turn off/Disable Memory Training. Check after that it's stable and still boots. This time w/o the three default Training cycles. Post back please. |

I'm on 3.0 now and my ram is still funny with xmp. It loops maybe 3 times on a reboot but doesn't disable the ram oc

but before you do this at least try one of the later bios versions that has extra attention to the ram timings and compatability
