If you are using a three pin fan on the Chassis3 fan header, you must set the CHA_FAN3 to DC mode, or it will run at full speed all the time.
According to the information on the page below, you can configure the CHA_FAN3 header to either PWM mode for a four pin fan, or DC mode for a three pin fan. Just click on "Which fan type can I use on AM4 motherboard to support fan speed control?" : http://www.asrock.com/microsite/AM4TSD/ |

I made the changes on CHA_FAN3 in the UEFI under HW Monitor but the fan only runs at nearly 100% all the time. I tried all settings including Custom. The CHA_FAN1-2 can change the fan speed differently. Please help. |
