go back to basics
start off check (eg unplug and replug) the 24 pin main pwr cable check the 8 pin cpu/eps extra cable remove all ram sticks apart from 1 in slot a2, then change this for another one in a2 check the seating of gpu (eg remove and refit) check pwr cables to gpu card deeply examine and confirm all the front panel headers/cables are correct (eg pwr led/hdled/pwr sw/resetsw) disconnect all dvd/sats/mnve/m2 drives while testing for a boot screen inbetween all stages unplug and leave disconnected for 3 mins finally if still no joy remove cpu and examine for any bent pins or thermal paste on pins |

Jrenshaw08, if I understand when you turn on the AC switch on the PS, the board LEDs blink. I assume you are then pushing the power on button on the case? Are you sure the power button cable is connected properly? Please check it. You can try the paper clip test, here: https://howchoo.com/g/nmu4mtjjnzq/how-to-diagnose-a-psu-without-any-tools
Enjoy, John. |
