I find the BIOS to be an issue also, something seem to be redundant in other sections. Descriptions for what things do are poor to non existent, the QR code thing has been of no use.

I also left most everything at default, the only changes I have made were to set the memory to 2666 ( my memory is 2133 ) and use all the 2133 timing. I also put an offset in the Vcore voltage to -.075mV.

Leaving the OC settings at default do seem to do something, I think my 1920x is supposed to be 3.5GHz to 4.0 GHz and I see it boosting to 4.2GHz, not sure if that's a normal low core count boost or not.

Good documentation would go a long way.

I have the suspend to RAM option turned on...Windows 10 removes the Suspend Options from the menu if you don't have that turned on.
One thing that is perplexing about the BIOS though...how do I know it isn't trying to overclock something?  Is it possibly trying to overclock some piece of my hardware that can't support it?  Even for the memory I can't seem to select the Memory profile on my own...my only options are XMP.

Hi,

The only thought I have is to make sure suspend to ram is enabled in BIOS. I don't recall what menu it is in but I have seen it ( I turn it off because I don't use suspend ). What I'm thinking is that the memory is not being kept alive when you go into suspend mode so the system looses context. On restart, it looks like a power failure or system crash to the MB. The reason you come up where you left off is Windows saved off what you were doing last else where.

Loosing BIOS settings might be the MB doing a safe start if it thought the system hung.

Hi All,
I installed an X399 pro over the weekend with a Threadripper 1900X, 960 Evo NVME main drive, 32GB 4 Channel RAM, a TR240 AIO, and a GTX960 video card with a 750W power supply, and 2 Case fans connected to the Motherboard.  I don't have any overclocking turned on (everything is left on AUTO, I'm not sure if that overclocks anything or not) with Win10Pro.  I've updated the BIOS to ver 2.0.

The computer won't resume from suspend correctly.  When I resume it, the screen and keyboard are not available, then the computer will reboot 2-3 times...sometimes loosing all of my BIOS setting and sometimes not.  When the screen and keyboard finally come back...oddly enough the system has resumed from where I left it.

I'm not sure why it would do this?  Is there something I've done wrong or do I have a faulty motherboard?
