Try this:
http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=630&title=how-to-clear-cmos-via-battery-removal Make sure the RAM is fully seated, I have had quite a few boards where the slots are especially snug and RAM appears seated when it isn't. Take a look at the contact area and make sure it is fully in. I know it seems silly to suggest but it has happened a lot on these forums, make sure you have the correct 8pin power connector hooked up to the board. It should be a 4+4 or 8pin CPU power connector not a 6+2 or 8pin PCIe power connector. Hopefully this helps.

Same problem here, no fix.
Killer giving me no signal to the screen, may be caused of using Utilities provided from Board Homepage. Beep Code matches to the FAQ Code list (https://www.asrock.com/support/faq.asp?id=286) 3 beeps for booting without memory. no beeps (silence) for cpu error. i reinstalled the cpu. no fix [i never got the 5 beeps code, no matter what configuration i installed] - Z370 Killer - i3-8100 - 2x Patriot 4GB DDR4 2400MHZ - Nvidia GTX 650 2GB |

The motherboard lights come on when I press power but the go off and on continually. The fans all come on and it tries to boot but never gets to the video. I have disconnected the sata connections and removed the m.2 drive to see if they are the problem but nothing changed. I have both the cpu and the MB power connected to the evga g3 850 power supply. I have G Skill ddr4 3200 memory installed in the A2 and B2 slots. I have a intel I7 8700k processor installed.
I believe that I should get video from the on board video so I removed the GTX 770 video card but still don't get any video. I don't have a speak so can't hear if there are any beeps. Why is there not a built in speak for these issues? Any suggestions? |
