Disabling NIC

   I am in the process of setting up a system using the x299 Professional Gaming i9 and am having an issue.  The OS that i am using is getting confused by the amount of on board network cards.  I am trying to disable the two Intel NICs in the BIOS, but so far i have only been able to turn off one, the 1219V is still operational.  Does anyone know how i would be able to disable the other Intel NIC?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
