Need BIOS for Fatal1ty 990FX Killer/3.1 w/ TPM 2.0

   Yeah, I had a suspicion that may happen. I have a feeling Microsoft laid down the law
and forbade manufacturers from supporting TPM 2.0 on older hardware. Board manufacturers
all have license agreements with Microsoft, that "made for windows" logo on the
product boxes is not just a statement, they pay licensing fees to be allowed to
do that and that license comes with conditions. 

Sorry you missed the boat, ASRock in particular was providing beta BIOSes to
anyone who asked at one point but it seems to have been stopped now.

	Seems nobody is interested lol, no response from a ticket whatsoever.....ill make do, I won't purchase another mobo, I'll sooner go back to using an Abacus....

	Thanks Xaltar, I just had a look(thank you), I didn't see a bios listed for this mobo, not sure if any of the others are usable on this mobo..I did open a ticket with Asrock support a week ago but as yet to get a response.. cheers mate, I'll keep hunting

	Welcome Menace57, you will probably have to open a support ticket with ASRock as I instructed thunder. I doubt they are still lurking here, most don't come back once their issue is solved. You can also check here and see if the BIOS has been added there. It's a repository maintained by one of the former moderators here. If it isn't there then your only option is to open a ticket. 	thx for your advice @Xaltar i opened a ticket with your link and i got a mail with the v1.30a bios quickly and it worked. the tpm device is now recognized in windows, so I am now able to start a game that previously refused to start (with bios v1.30 the tpm device was not displayed in windows11)
