Hello Everyone.
I'm new to the forum and this is my 1st post. I have an ASRock x299 Taichi with an i7-7820x and 1 GTX 1080 ti video card using 1 slot. I have no other cards, so 3 of the 4 slots are free. I've populated all 3 M.2 slots with Samsung 960 Pro 512GB drives. So, I have 3 M.2 drives, but am only able use 2 of them to create a RAID 0. Is it because my CPU only has 28 lanes that I can't use the 3rd M.2 in a RAID set? I just want to confirm if I SHOULD be able to use all 3 M.2's in RAID or if I must settle on using only 2. Thanks. |
