Dear Jmaus123,
Thank you for choosing ASRock.
Regarding your case, the memory module you are used is listed on our memory support list, that means these memory modules have been tested in our lab and can work fine. There are two way to load the XMP profile. 1. Get into BIOS and load XMP profile. Press F2 during POST to get into BIOS, set XMP Profile from Auto to Profile.
Press F10to save the configuration and re-enter BIOS to check the memory speed. 2. Turn the motherboard XMP switch on. Press F2during POST to get into BIOS to check the memory speed.
Also, if you only install two memory modules on the motherboard; we suggest installing at A2, B2 slots.
Thank you! Yours truly, ASRock TSD Edited by ASRock_TSD - 05 Jan 2018 at 2:06pm |

I never updated bios. So both my memory sticks run on 2133 mhz, instead of original 3000mhz. I also see there is a XMP switch on motherboard which is currently off, do i turn this on? So please tell me all i need to do to get safe 3000mhz and i dont wanna mess up anything(noob at this) and want so that everything is stable. Thank you !
