I have a W790 WS Motherboard that I got in December 2023. This problem has been there since I set up the computer when it was new. I have a windows and a linux distribution installed on the computer and I have a strange issue. Whenever I am in the GRUB2 boot menu to select my OS or if I need to get into a recovery state, all of my keystrokes are registered twice. This is a problem to get into recovery mode because hitting enter to get into a secondary menu registers two enter keystrokes and then selects the first item in the second list automatically. This effectively prevents me from entering the safe mode recovery. I have tried:
Reinstalling grub2. Multiple different wired keyboard. Making sure the motherboard firmware was up to date using the windows motherboard update tools from ASROCK. I can't fix the issue. Would appreciate any tips if anyone has them!
