try to reset cmos, see if that helps
i had 5 short beeps too when i was switching sound card between ports

yes the top pci-e 16x when i try to use it i get the 5 short beep error code

the components are: evga 750 ti sc , ryzen 5 1500, 16 gigs gskill, 600 watt raidmax psu, 850evo ssd running windows 10

Do you mean the top PCIe x16 slot or the PCIe x1 slot above it?

Could you list your full system specs too please.

hello thanks for checking the post out im getting no signal on the top pci-e slot but do on the second pci-e slot, is it a bad mother board? or am i missing something in the bios? or is the card not compatible any help would be appreciated
