That I would guess is superior to getting "drilled"

My apologies to the Thread Starter/OP

Boredom has settled in here.

Thanks.  I'll have a look at those.

Apparently I lost the compatibility lottery with the ones I had and this motherboard.  Sometimes that's how it is.

Hey there,

I use HP NC364T adapters here, now.

They can be gotten off of eBay for under $25ea

Each card employs two Intel 82571EB controllers, can install Intel PROSet Utilities, and have a broad selection of drivers available.

This is the issue, without having used these it is impossible to help you. The only advice we can really give here is try using better 4 port NICs. Wardog was not wrong, this is the advice I would give too.

You have a resource conflict, that is likely because all the cards are trying to use the same addresses/registers. Unless the cards have a config (jumpers/switches/OPROMs) that allow you to change this I don't see how you can get more than 1 to work. Like you said, cheap. Your issue isn't with the ASRock board, it's with the cheap NICs.

Have you offered a genuine solution to the specified issue which I have not understood?
