The online manual v1.0 dated 2015 shows that early BIOS does have the "load xmp" just as the newer versions do.
Go into BIOS, go to Advanced (top right). At top go to OC Tweaker, click on DRAM config. There you should see Load XMP Setting or profile. Click it. It should load the XMP Profile. Save and Exit If the ram you have is not on Asrocks QVL list it may not boot proper after loading XMP. If not RESET the BIOS to reset it to 2133. Let us know how it go's Edited by badbri - 11 Apr 2018 at 9:54am |

I have a ASROCK h170a-x1
32gb ddr4 8x4 ram advertised at 2800mhz in all 4 dimms problem is, I can't seem to find this "XMP" option that people have told me to turn on in bios, I have looked everywhere in bios and I can't find it. I was trying to question why my RAM is stuck at 2133mhz when clearly it is advertised at 2800mhz and different timings. ALso I have not updated my bios, it's still stock bios. I don't know if that's the reason XMP profile is not showing up>?
