Oops, I said realtek for some reason when I meant the bios.

I have a brand new H610M-HVS/M.2 R2.0 (as per msinfo32 report) I installed windows 10 pro and when it booted no network card showed in Device Manager. I installed the win10 Realtek driver (downloaded from the board support page today). It shows fine in Device manager but will not connect to anything even after several shutdowns (I have a cat 6 cable to my router and networking is fine under linux).
So I suspected perhaps an old bios bug so I tried updating the bios. Downloaded the realtek (Win10 version) from the support page today and copied to a FAT32 USB stick. I have the zip file, The unzipped directory and a copy of the .bios file all in the USB root directory (not sure which way the flasher wants it). Tried several reboots but the flash utility cannot find the bios file named "H610M-HDV_HVS_17.01.ROM" Any suggestions? |
