Hi 

Just wanted to make a post to say that i currently have an X99 Taichi with 

an E5-2660v3
128GB (16gb x 8) of Quad channel DDR4 ECC RDIMMS working fine 


couldn't find it on the supported list or any information about compatibility online but took the chance anyway and it all works as it should. 

hopefully this will get trawled and show up in search engines for others.
