Please Help Red Light x470

Hi, 
Please can someone help me!

I have installed an x470 fatality motherboard. When I plug in the PSU, even before I hit the power button the motherboard starts blinking red. Once I hit the power button, the fans, GPU etc switch on but the motherboard still blinks red. The system does not boot and I dont know what I have done wrong.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
