1) Set in BIOS to initiate your Graphics Card first.
2) Try to put your Graphics Card in different PCIe slots. 3) Use Multimeter to check 12V voltage on the Graphics Card`s power connector. |

Hey,
I have recently assembled a new Gaming PC. Unfortunately, the screen freezes when Windows is about to boot but this happens only when the graphics card is built-in. On the other side, the system works fine when I use the onboard graphics card. I already exchanged the Graphics card but it still doen't work so the graphics card is not defect. Has anybody an idea how to solve this problem? Here are my specs: Mainboard: ASRock Z370 Extreme4, Version 3.10 Processor: Intel i7-8700K (not OC) RAM: G.Skill RipJaws V Dual, each 8 GB Graphics Card: Gainward GeForce GTX 1060 PSU: Be quiet Pure Power 10 (600 watts) OS: Windows 10 64 Bit Monitor: Asus VS278H I have no idea whether this is an issue of the mainboard, of the PSU or of the monitor so I would really appreciate any solution approach. Best regards, Erik |
