Hello guys,
I recently decided to make an AMD Ryzen setup instead of what I'm used to - Intel. I currently have an issue with my Motherboard not being able to detect my M.2 PCIe SSD. Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Gaming X (https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20X370%20Gaming%20X/index.asp#Overview) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-7-2700x) SSD: XPG SX6000 PCIe Gen3x2 M.2 2280 NVMe When I plug the SSD to the Ultra M.2 (PCIe Gen3 x4 & SATA3) slot on the MB it detects the following "REALTEK RTS5761 NVMe Drive RL6358AAN", which is indicated to be a disk with the size of 0.2 GB. Screenshot here https://prnt.sc/kpcduy When I plug the SSD to the M.2 (PCIe Gen2 x2 & SATA3) slot the Motherboard doesn't detect anything at all. In the Motherboard specification, it says the following about the M.2 Slot: 1 x Ultra M.2 Socket (M2_1), supports M Key type 2230/2242/2260/2280 M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s module and M.2 PCI Express module up to Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s) (with Summit Ridge, Raven Ridge and Pinnacle Ridge) or Gen3 x2 (16 Gb/s) (with A-Series APU)* The SSD that I'm using is NVMe. Could this be the issue that I'm facing? |
