Hi
I've already changed the motherboard, so i can't share the bios with you But i've followed this thread to mod my bios https://www.win-raid.com/t871f50-Guide-How-to-get-full-NVMe-support-for-all-Systems-with-an-AMI-UEFI-BIOS.html Check it out - maybe you'll eve find a link to modded bios there |

Actually there is a way to uncover NVMe boot for all Z77 and X79 boards And i've done it myself for X79 Extreme 6 by modding its BIOS using a guide available at win-raid.com But my post was about that strange fact that HEDT platform owners have to do it manually themselves, while mainstream platform owners can stick to official BIOSes And it's even stranger because simply updating a BIOS and posting it at AsRock site wouldn't actually cost anything for the manufacturer

I have two motherboards from AsRock - the Z77 Extreme4 and X79 Extreme6 The first one can boot from NVMe SSD with 2.90P beta BIOS, but the second one lacks such a capability, even though it's an HEDT board Sure thing there are internet guides on BIOS modding to get NVMe boot support for X79 boards, but wouldn't it be fair for all AsRock X79 boards' customers to have an official working beta BIOSes from their favorite manufacturer - like Z77 owners do? Thanks!
