Hello,
I have an ASRock Mini-ITX Motherboard - AB350 Gaming-ITX/AC installed in my gaming computer. It currently runs a 2700x which has treated me very well. I was wondering if it's possible to install a 5800X3D processor? I do not see a BIOS for this on the product page, though I did read some folks have installed the AB450 BIOS? Anyway, if anyone has info on this I would appreciate it. I'd much rather not have to buy a motherboard, considering there would be no further processor upgrades available in the future since the socket is no longer going to be supported. |

I don't know who claims a B450 BIOS will run on an AB350, but the blockdiagrams, of both chipset, are completely different.
Don't think it's a wise decision ASRock BIOS also checks if the new BIOS, belongs to the board, to prevent accidentally flashing the wrong BIOS. I would stick to the CPU support list |

Kind Regards
