Check out the CPU support list
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20AB350%20Gaming-ITXac/index.asp#CPU This CPU is officially not supported but AMD has added it to ther latest Agesa code. The upgrade path You can find in the BIOS download page https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/Fatal1ty%20AB350%20Gaming-ITXac/index.asp#BIOS First from 3.60 to 5.30 Next to the 7.00 Bridge BIOS and then to 7.40 Before starting the BIOS flash go into BIOS, reset to defaults with f9 and save with f10, and unpack all 3 Instant Flash files onto a FAT formatted USB stick But ASrock officially doesn't support the CPU, so it is on your own risk. And Some poeple say it works fine, some say it worked for a few days and suddenly one memory slot is not recognised, but with the old CPU, it is working, and when the new CPU is tested on another board, both memory slots are working. |

Hi, I have an AB350 Gaming ITX MB with a Ryzen 7 1800X and BIOS v3.60. I would like to upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5700X. Is this possible and, if so, what is the BIOS upgrade path? Thanks Kev |
