I'm pretty disappointed with the BIOS on this ~$900 board. I know it's a fairly recent piece of hardware for which ASRock still might be working out bugs, but there a noticeable lack of features and issues which I've encountered using it.

1. The system will not boot when custom SecureBoot keys are used requiring a BIOS reset (loaded from within UEFI). Factory keys are fine.
2. The SPI TMP 2.0 is not detected by the BIOS (it's an ASRock TPM).
3. There is no AMD SEV/SME support despite AMD Threadrippers supporting it (5955WX in this case). https://www.amd.com/en/processors/ryzen-threadripper-pro : see 'AMD Memory Guard'.
4. Where is Pre-boot DMA protection?
5. Where are the thunderbolt security levels?

I've also submitted support tickets with ASRock and never gotten any response. This is really quite unacceptable for such an expensive board.

When you sent support tickets did you receive the automated confirmation response ?
Sometimes ASRock's replies (including the automated ones) end up in the spam folder.

Yeah I've always gotten the confirmations.

How long has it been since you submitted the first ticket? It can take a while
sometimes for ASRock to get back to you. If you submitted during Computex it's also
possible your ticket got lost in the frenzy to prepare for it.

I submitted a SEV/SME ticket back in January, for which they told me the BIOS didn't support it and to "wait for an update". I also submitted a ticket the Secure Boot issue in February and never got a response. I recently submitted a ticket about the lack of thunderbolt security on the 16th and have yet to receive a response.

Just got a response for my thunderbolt ticket. They sent me a custom BIOS with DMA protection support (which essentially obsolesces the need for TB security levels). So +1 to ASRock for that. The other issue I really wish they would fix is SEV support though, as far as I know the other WRX80 boards all support it.
