Hello, i wanted to upgrade my CPU Ryzen 5 2600 to an Ryzen 7 5800x3d and have a question about the Bios, currently i am running 1.5. Can i jump straight to 10.01 or other 5800x3d compatible bios? Or do i have to upgrade first to 1.9 ? I tried upgrading to 1.9 but i dont know why i got greetet with lots and lots of bluescreens.

Yes, I think you need P1.90, then 3.40, finally 10.01.
I am on 8.01 the obvious benefit I see is CPU voltage around 1.1 using UEFI state and temp only 40C, instead of previously 1.4v 60C when inside UEFI. ignore the 1.9 bluescreens, it's just a stepping stone, still a lot of bugs in 1.9, hence quicly jump to 3.40 then 10.01. |
