I've never seen the Restart to UEFI program fail. That program just uses a Win 10 feature (which was first available in Win 8) to let us get into the UEFI/BIOS easier. Your problem might indicate a corruption of your Win 10 installation. You can try turning off the Windows fast startup feature, and keep it off for several boots/restarts before attempting to enable it again.

I would try clearing the UEFI/BIOS. Many keyboards, particularly wireless or gaming keyboards that have their own software, are not functional during some of the POST process, and may be not working right after the UEFI/BIOS is cleared. The same is true for a wireless or gaming mouse.

That happens to me every time I clear the UEFI or do a UEFI update on my X99 and Z170 boards. I connect a basic wired USB mouse and PS2 keyboard (!!) afterwards so I can reset options in the UEFI. Once the board completes a second POST after a UEFI clear or update, my wireless mouse and keyboard work during POST, and I can get into the UEFI with the Del key.

Are you using the Fast Boot option in the UEFI?

The A6 POST code is just the last POST code displayed before or while you are in the UEFI UI. It is the last POST procedure, related to starting the SATA drives.

That "secuROM error 8016" message is one I am not familiar with. When do you (or did you) see that displayed? In Windows or ??  How do you know that updating the BIOS/UEFI fixes it, and what is being fixed, if you know? That may be the cause of or be related to your problem.
