Deep Sleep mode concern

   B760 Motherboard

Hi, I'm not super knowledgeable with PC's but all I wanted to do is make sure my keyboard's LED's are OFF after my comp is shutdown. They stay on for some reason. 
Could not find ERP settings in my bios, and after a bunch of research I enabled the "deep sleep" option with s4 + s5, which seems to do the trick. It does say however that this is not a "reccomended option" for compatibility and stability when I flicked it on. What does this mean? Could this somehow affect the longevity of my PC?
