athlon 3000G is raven ridge, that means update to 7.00 and onward would work with your CPU
that recomendation is for when you want to update bios while keeping using old CPU ,as that is not recommended, but for updating bios and replacing CPU, no issue here you just need to download 7.00 bios and any bios above it (8.01 is latest) unpack both zip files to usb stick then proceed with this guide https://www.asrock.com/support/BIOSIG.de.asp?cat=BIOS10 |

Hello, i have a motherboard (Asrock A320M-HDV R4.0) with the bios version P4.0.
Im currently using an athlong 3000g and im going to upgrade to a ryzen 5 from the 5000 series, i wonder if with the athlon i can install the bridge bios (7.0) and the one i need before the athlon stops working with the mobo (bios 7.10 for vermeer) Can anyone explain me how to do the bridge bios update and how everything works |
