About 2 months ago I made new Skylake rig.
I was haunted by strange IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSODs during gaming (only gaming - prime95 could work for hours without any issue). After searching for a while I found this topic: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/3h565j/troubleshooting_getting_bsod_in_new_windows_10/ Surprisingly it worked - Forcing level 3 CPU LCC stabilized situation (keep in mind that I currently don't OC at all - all other settings are left on auto/default). But this workaround stop working with UEFI 2.80+. Getting stuck on 2.40 is currently not big problem for me but I'm quite interested what cause this problem. Apparently not only I have this issue. Anybody have any insights?

OK I got it working on UEFI 2.90.
LCC on level one. VCore offset +20. It is first time I need to bump voltages to stabilize stock clock...
