In all defense of logitech, it works fine on an asus mb.. 

This is an issue with the kbd controller firmware or something with the power on the ps/2 port.   I used to write this stuff for a living, and I'm pretty familiar with the goofy things that can crop up unexpectedly. 

I'm not suggesting the proprietary games they play requiring drivers is the right thing to do in the 21st century.. There is no excuse for that..  

LOL on the HP keyboard,  I have one sitting in the draw.. and one with a volume knob they keeps falling off..

Hehe the paint on the keys is all but worn away on mine Big smile

Fortunately, I never look at the keys when I am typing so its not a problem. I think I have replaced this thing about 5 times over the years but always end up coming back to it in a few days because the replacements just didn't feel right lol.
