i bought this mobo to build my daughter her own gaming PC from my replaced parts. the mobo was the only component that I didn't upgrade from my original build.
for the life of me I cannot get the m.2 to install. is anyone else having this issue? its a 2280 m.2 and I would need the screw from the heatsink to hold the drive down. but I cannot make the screw thread when the m.2 is installed. its a cheap WD Blue gen 3 for now. so its not like there is a heatsink on the drive itself. it was simple on my msi pro b650p wifi board. this mobo is significantly better than my mobo but I'm still gonna let her have it.... i could really use some help on how to get this installed. thank you! |

All m.2 slots you have should be mounting the NVME e-key drives the same and use the same screws.
I have a cheap pcie-nvme adapter for quick NVME install on the desk and just plugging it into pcie slot. It obv works on the same speed as the m.2 slot. |
