Hi I'm Planning to do a build using the DeskMeet B660 Barebones kit. i wanted to know if i were to use my own PSU the SF750 cause its much smaller PSU that would make more room to maybe fit a bigger CPU cooler i wanted to know do you think this cpu cooler might fit NH-L9x65 ? now that there a bit of extra room

I can't say if the cooler you mentioned will have enough space with the SF750 PSU
installed but the PSU should work just fine in the system. Maybe this video could be of some help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5Px2YT32-0 The DeskMeet B660 supports a 54mm high cooler and the NH-L9x65 without a fan is just 51mm high so I would imagine you should have enough space for the full 65mm height (with fan) of that cooler when using the SF PSU, depending on how it's mounted. Honestly, I would just upgrade the internal fan on a standard sized PSU and use the NH-L9x65 without a fan with the PSU fan pulling air through it. At least that way you won't have the PSU pulling air and the CPU fan trying to fight it pushing air down over the fins. Just my 2c, hope it helps. |
