And if still you continue having problem, disable the C6 state.
I upgraded from a A10 7850k to a A10 7890k in a FM2A88X Extreme 4+ and I had many problem until I disabled this featurew

I would definitely upgrade the BIOS to the latest version. Make sure you use the instant flash method, it is by far the most reliable and safe.

The 7870k is a Godavari CPU and those are only properly supported from BIOS version 2.50 onwards.

Does my the FM2A55-HD+ supports AMD A10 7870k? Because ever since I upgraded from AMD A6 6400k I'm experiencing random blue screens. I already tested all my hardwares and reinstalled Windows. I'm suspecting that either the CPU is not supported or I need to update my BIOS. My current BIOS version is P1.50. Can you suggest if i should update my BIOS? Thanks
