Does this CMOS battery charge function exist? Do other mainboard producers offer this too?

there is one significant argument against rechargeable CMOS-battery: the battery life outlasts the usefulness of the system. it could be oecologial (good for the environment) and maybe also oeconomical (saving a tiny amount of money) but in the end, you have to buy a new mainboard at least in 10 years, if you want to work with up to date software. CMOS battery charging isn?�t a common feature, but some high-end motherboards and industrial boards support it to extend battery life. Most mainstream brands like Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, and Acer typically rely on replaceable CR2032 batteries. It?�s interesting to see new innovations in motherboard design, and maybe more brands will adopt this in the future. Also, cool to see the behind-the-scenes work that keeps our systems running.
