I am considering purchasing the above motherboard.

I plan on adding a Samsung 960 Pro 1TB when they become available

I currently have a Samsung 850 Pro and a 2TB spinner.
My 950 Pro nvme boot drive will move to another computer and be replaced by the 960 Pro
I have a 128gb SM951 AHCI I am considering installing too since the motherboard has 2 x M.2 slots

Question: will this work with all of these installed?

960 pro 1TB Boot Nvme
850 Pro 512 GB SATA data
ST2000VN000 2TB Spinner SATA
128gb SM951 AHCI

I also want to use the wi-fi module.

My CPU is I7-6900K and RAM is DDR4-3200 (F4-C16Q3200-32GTZB)

Also, I have a good gaming mouse. If I don't install the Fatal1ty mouse drivers will the mouse port operate as a standard USB 2.0 port?

Thoughts?

thanks

I have this board and use a 950 pro, 2 tb sata, and a 256 sata SSD.  I have not used two drives in the M.2 but havent come across anyone having issues doing so.  I did alot of research on this board over another issue with PCI lanes, and never saw anything in regards to your question.

I know its not the best answer but its the best i have unfortunately.

Assuming you are talking about the Fatal1ty X99 Professional Gaming i7.

First, the i7-6900K has 40 PCIe 3.0 lanes, so no limitations for the PCIe resources. The UEFI provides Broadwell-E support out of the box.

Regarding your drives, no problem using both Ultra M.2 slots with a 960 Pro and SM951. The UEFI provides NVMe support out of the box.

The only thing to be careful about with your SATA drives is the M.2 slots share resources with two of the SSATA3 ports, SSATA3_2 and SSATA3_3. That leaves eight SATA III ports, so no problem.

The WiFi module uses PCIe lanes from the chipset, so no problem using it.

You mixed up the model number of the DDR4 memory, it should be F4-3200C16Q-32GTZB. Checking G.SKILLs compatibility (QVL), we find only Z170/Skylake systems compatibility:

X99 and Z170 systems have different XMP parameters, I suggest selecting a different model of memory.

The Fatal1ty mouse port is a purely software created feature, so its USB 2.0 port will work normally without it. You can also add USB 2.0 ports with a PCIe slot USB connector, connected to the board.

No video card included in you list, X99 HEDT processors do not have integrated graphics.
