Ask if you can borrow an i7-5xxxK or order a BIOS module from the ASRock service.

this can't be very common. i have rechecked the CPU support list on asrocks site, and it indeed says 6800k is supported from BIOS P3.0. wouldn't i still be able to get into BIOS so I can first update the BIOS, even with my 6800K? not sure what BIOS Module is thanks Edited by Aristoc - 08 Nov 2016 at 11:52pm |

J Z is talking about a BIOS chip, it is the only way to update your BIOS without being able to flash it.

No chance without BIOS chip or Haswell-E.

Yes, contact Tech support via email and they will help you out. You are not the first and won't be the last to run into this issue

a BIOS chip is being sent soon. Thank you !
however, i need to find memory. I checked on the Corsair site which lists all of its memory that is compatible with x99m killer here. to be safer i am looking at the 2133 or 2400 and 32 GB. however, even though they are listed compatible with COrsair, they do not show up onthe asrock x99m killer memory support list? is there any reason for this? which one do I choose? and even if its compatible with the motherboard, is it also compatible with the CPU (Broadwell 6800k)? corsair white paper listing DDR4 compatible memory http://www.corsair.com/en-ca/vengeance-lpx-32gb-4x8gb-ddr4-dram-2400mhz-c16-memory-kit-black-cmk32gx4m4a2400c16 asrock x99m memory compatiblity list: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty%20X99M%20Killer/?cat=Memory thank you Edited by Aristoc - 09 Nov 2016 at 7:37am |

Both are correct. ASRock makes a QVL at the beginning of production with what they have at hand at that time. The mem manufacturers have more skin in the game and continually update their offerings and certifying their sticks/Kits on/against ALL manufacturers motherboards, to the mem manufacturers advantage. The mem manufacturers QVL will always more current and they update it regularly when their new products come out. Edited by wardog - 09 Nov 2016 at 7:46am |
