Need help modding Z87 extreme9/ac Bios to set all  PCIe to gen1 by default.
The bios allows to change only PCIe2 to gen1.
Thanks.

You won't get much help here. First, it's an "Official' tech forum of ASRocks and secondly thatere just aren't that many to frequent this forum that are proficient at modding a BIOS. I do, but only for myself. And then only for the boards that pass over my bench.

Two regarded sites I recommend:

Tell Fernando here wardog says "Hi" . Fernando and Crew are very helpful and responsive.

I'm not that familiar with this site but they've been around a long long time now.

Fernando says it is too risky Cool ... I just told him that this mobo has dual bios. I'll wait and see.

Thanks  a  lot.

Fernando stating that, you can take it to the bank then.

If you do decide to pursue this further you risk hosing your motherboard. If he wouldn't touch the x1 mod you asked of then I wouldn't trust someone else either.

Sorry Embarrassed
