Motherboard - AB350m Pro 4

Hello, was hoping someone from tech or an owner of this board can answer a quick question for me.
For almost every bios, the page states

"*** User will not able to flash previous BIOS once upgrading to this BIOS version."

I could of sworn I switched numerous times between 7.2 and 7.4 versions years ago without any issue when trying to get the best speeds for my ram.   I would like to try some of the latest beta versions but am concerned I can't go back to the 7 versions if there is any issues.

Does the above warning statement apply to every single version prior to the latest? How was I able to transfer between the 7 versions without issue when they gave the same warning?

Also wanted to say thanks to Asrock for still supporting this old board. The fact that this board still works great and is still supported to this day, is why my next upgrade will be another asrock. I wish more company's were like this.
