Z170 Extreme4 fan problem

   Hi, I am going to assemble a new PC and I will opt for Z170 Extreme4 motherboard.I would mount 4 fans, but the technical specifications that I found on the site talk about 3 fan connectors (over a 2xCPU fan).
I wanted to know if it was possible to connect the fourth fan to the CPU fan connector remained free.
If not possible, I could use a splitter to connect 2 fans in the same chassis-fan connector?
