ARGB Link Mode not working

   I recently purchased a ASRock Radeon??RX 9070 XT Steel Legend 16GB GPU.
It has the option to link the ARGB header on the GPU with an ARGB header on the motherboard, which is called 'ARGB Link Mode'.
So according to this manual (https://download.asrock.com/Manual/ARGBQIG/Radeon%20RX%209070%20XT%20Steel%20Legend%2016GB.pdf) I put the LED switch to the Off position and connected a (tested) ARGB cable to these headers.
But the GPU LED lights stay off. Also when I daisy chain the GPU ARGB header to my case fans (which are connected to the motherboard and are lit), it still doesn't light up.

So how should this work?

	FWIW I have struggled with this as well. Heres the kicker when I bought my card, I did so buy getting a bundle from Amazon. I took a while for t he board to ship but after it arrived yesterday, I plugged the card in and after a couple reboots, it ran an APU update and then BAM the rgb link mode worked. I should add that prior to the update it did not work even on the Asrock board, I am not yet sure if it was the Asrock board or coincidence that they update ran only after being attached. I have had the card for about a month.

	kipusoep, made an account just to say thank you for making this available. I have no idea who you talked to or why this FW update isn't widely available, but it worked for me. Hopefully others find this thread.

	I have same problem but i have steel legend dark version. So this fw did not su?t me. I contacted with customer support and send this thread too but they sent me polychrome to adjust rgb. I need a proper firmware for my 9070 xt steel legend dark.

	I have the same problem, my GPU is the 9070xt Steel Legend Dark, I tried to run the update that kipusoep left in his comment and it didn't work. Now not even Polychrome Sync works, it's giving me the Error 0xFFFB No ASRock peripherals detected on this computer! I filled out the ASRock support request form and I'm waiting for them to respond

	I fix the solution with razer chroma argb controller. Also installed the firmware that kipusoep posted in here. I connected the argb cable to the cpntroller not mainboard and with signal rgb, now i can control gpu's lightning with signal rgb and syncronize with my other argb devices. But asrock still have to share a new firmware for 9070 xt sl dark too, not everypne had to buy argb controller, it is their fault.

	I also have a 9060 XT Steel Legend and cannot get ARGB Link to work, if the ARGB switch is set to off it just does not work instead of switching over to MoBo controls. If someone gets the firmware for the 9060 XT variant please share, and thank you!
