Just built a pc and the combo i have is a ASRock x870e Taichi, ASRock 9070 xt and r7 9800x3d I saw there was issues floating around that were impacting a small number of CPUs with these motherboards. Most of them appear to be using PBO and/or improper install. Was just curious if "auto" in bios is also considered disabled for PBO... if not can I just disable it entirely through a different method to avoid this being a potential issue?

BIOS is on 3.20 and don't have ability to update it for a few days but need to be using for some work/school tasks.

Thank you

Honestly, why risk damaging your CPU? Even if the chance is one in a billion.
If you absolutely need to use the system without updating first then disable PBO
entirely.

See page 34 of your user manual and adjust your settings accordingly. Auto is enabled.

hi everyone, I have a question. I have an AB350 pro4

with BIOS 5.90 (working in single channel 1-2 RAM slots)

but I was getting blue screens because of Samsung 980

I decided to update the BIOS to version 7 in hopes of getting rid of them, but after rebooting.
Slots 1 and 2 stopped working together; either 1 or 2 works at a time, and the motherboard tries to start and reboots.
