Hello All,
I am new here.  I just purchased the Super Carrier Z270 .  I am running MS Server 2016 and in the "read me" file it says the drivers will work but I cannot get the 2 intel LAN or Thunderbolt 3 drivers to install.  It is troubling me because the error message I get says "Cannot install drivers.  No Intel(R) Adapters are present in this computer"  The 5 GIG LAN installed just fine but neither of the 2 Gigabit LANs have installed.  I get a similar message for the thunderbolt 3 ports as well.

Thanks

Have you installed the Intel IME and INF "drivers' from the MB's driver download page?

Failing having done that, what version of Server 2016 are you working with there? 2016 drivers are different from previous releases. As I've experienced here with running most 2016 iterations.

The PROset installer requires the MS Service "Windows Modules Installer" to be Enabled yet the instances of 2016 here the service is Disabled. Blame MS and their security concerns. Yet  it would be nice if the PROSet installer recognized and informed. To be fair, in thed ReadMe is where I found that tidbit concerning the module installer, which says Intel is at least aware of it being disabled.

If none of the above work for you reply back. I have a workaround that usually works Wink
